Met up with geck for shepherding today :D
Dennischua and Newell were having shepherding as well, around 1metre away from us. haha!

[Striving For Excellence] was what geck taught today :D

In 1cor9:24-26, it talks about running a race.
We should run in a way in order to win the prize, not run to not lose the race.
In all we do, we must have a winning mindset.
We don't just want to do or participate, but to win, to strive!
We tend to think its ok to be average, at least we're not the last.
But, why settle for something lesser when you can do more?
God plans for His children to win, to live life to the fullest.
Therefore we don't want to stay as average christians but to be one who will strive for the excellence even in small little things for God!

Before the race, we'll get training so as to win.
Training disciplines us, its a good thing to receive training cause God is using you :D
If we're lazy, there's no way God can use us.
We should dream BIG for Him! and dream with "our eyes open", which means not just dreaming but also doing it and put in efforts as well.
There's no shortcuts when moving towards our dreams but we'll move step by step.
These steps are trainings to reach our dreams.
Thus we must be disciplined to meet our goals!

We should have clear goals :D
We don't just want to keep going and walking aimlessly, not knowing where to go, but we want to have clear goals and be clear where we are going.
Thus we should start planning, and also dream BIGGG for God!
"If you fail to plan, you plan to fail."
hahahaha.

Really thank God for this shepherding as i've really learnt alot!
I always love to set goals. But i seldom put in efforts to reach my goals. For example, i told myself to wake up at 7am in the next morning to do stuffs( don't laugh k? especially Priscilla Nnnngggg!), but i seldom meet my target cause i always tell myself: ok lah, i'll do it tmr.
There'll be another tmr after a tmr and after a tmr.
So thats why you dont see me waking up early unless i'm disturbed by irenekam!
hahahaha.
Thus i really want to put this teaching into practice, meeting the goals that i've set, and also planning my time to the fullest!
Yeah! :D

Ytd was our Bizart Day :D
and its great spending time with them!
Thank God for everything!

Went to have dinner after that at LJS with Peichyi and she's really really a joker!
we chatted till almost all the shops in tm are closed :D
hotdog ate hotdog in ljs!
hahahaha.
