Here's my update :D
The 2008 Arete Camp really benefited me alot :)
Exciting, motivating,refreshing, splendid and FUN are some words to describe it!

1st day of camp:
We were all so excited for it!
Met up with cg members and off we went to Golden Mile Complex for registration etc.
We seems to have reached thailand cos Golden Mile's a very thai place filled with thai food :)
Had prayer meet and worship after registration.
Its really important to start the camp with the right heart with God, and also asking & telling God, for visions and what you expect from the camp etc.
Had our teaching 1( A Sanctified Life ) by Pastor Jasmine after that :)
Santified Life = Holiness = set apart from commom use and dedicated to God's use!
Had our very own PolyDiNs Got Talent Night.
hahahahahaha.
Really had a great time watching :D
Every grp never failed to make me laugh/touched!


Travelled to Coasta Sands Resort for our BEDS!
While travelling, i found out something, which i think its really funny.This person, sitting beside me on the bus, actually went to services cos he loves praise songs in the past :D
hahahahaha!
My room girls were, Priest Ah Bee & Mag!
'Its fun being in the same room with Shirley', i'm sure thats what they think :D
Priest: Though its hard to wake me up, its harder to wake her up, haha!
Ah Bee: She's a heroine! she catches cockroach! geck geck :D
Mag: She's our alarm clock, its quite impossible to be late with her around :)
Shirley: She's the best of all. hehe!







2nd Day of Camp:
Had our morning QT when we woke up :)
When we were preparing to lock our doors & go for the workshop, we realised that our room's key was lost.
We searched high and low but we still cant find it.
Before going for the workshop, we prayed to God that we can find it.
And guess what?
THE KEY WAS FOUND!
NOTHING is impossible with God!
Praise God! yay :D
Dennis and i went for the 7/24 Personal Management workshop which I've really learnt alot from it.

If you think you're not good, then you wont be good.
Be a Proactive person, not a reactive person.
Proactive people focus on efforts & attention on long term.
Reactive people believe that if they can do nothing about their daily events in their lives, then they simply wont make the effort.
Proactive people may have no control over what lives throws at us but we always have a choice about how we are to respond :)
See the bottle as half full rather than half empty!

Had our Arete service! haha.
Sermon was by Pastor Jasmine on A Faith-filled Life.
- Faith to meet and be saved by God
-Helps as to fulfill God's great commission
-Helps us to develop Christ-likeness.


And also, had teaching by Pastor Jeff :)
Gock, why you suddenly appear in my mind?
hahahahaha.
A Reproducing Life = we got to reproduce good people.
"When i was a child, i talked like a child, i thought like a child, i reasoned like a child. When i became a man, i put childish ways behind me."

3rd day of camp:
Packed our stuffs and checked out of chalet.
Travelled to Golden Mile for our teachings etc.
Teaching 3 was by Li yan :)
A Sacrificial Life = offering something thats precious, that has value and is important.
Had lunch and P&W after that!
hahahahaha.
Last teaching of the camp was firstly by Pastor Jasmine and secondly by Nel :)
A kingdom-minded Life = Where God reigns, thats where Kingdom of God is.
How to maintain one's life on the KOG = surrendering my life( divine exchange )

Held our Theme Night in the evening!
It seems like our grad night cos everyone was dressing their best for God :D
It was really really really really WONDERFUL :D

God's really so cool :)
We left the complex at around 11.50pm for the last train.
And from the complex, it was quite a distance to walk to the station.
So it really seems that we cant make it for the last train in the midst of walking there.
So we prayed and God really made a way for us.
The last train was 7mins away when we reached the station at around 12plus.
WOW!
God will make a way, where there seems to be no way

Thank God for blessing us this time in camp together!

Had our cg at Joseph's house.
The toddler named Peter, i think, was really cute!
Priest : EHH! i wanna give birth also! He's sooo cute :)
You can imagine how cute Peter is when Priest, who used to call babies creatures, exclaimed that he's cute! hahahahaha.

Went to watch Step up 2 at century after cg :)
The movie inspired us to dance, hahahaha!
Everyone was listening to the song LOW low low low low low~

Went to work at around 11.45pm.
Ms Cockroach was really irritating lah!
hahahahaha.
Called and asked why is there no ice cream in the morning,
asked if she can change the bundle meal cappucino to milo cos she cant sleep after drinking that :D
was like chatting with her for around 15mins and she was there being so urgh, and i kept laughing and muting, hahaha!


Oh yeah! I think our cg has a very design-talented bee :






Isn't her design nice? haha!
